You are eligible to participate in the CAST Life Science Award 2007 if you are a researcher at one of the following institutions:

- Leopold-Franzens-University Innsbruck
- Innsbruck Medical University
- MCI, Management Center Innsbruck
- UMIT,University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology
- FHS Kufstein University of Applied Sciences
- Tyrolean Cancer Research Institute
- Institute for Biomedical Aging Research

Participation made easy

You can download the potential paper for submission for the CAST Life Science Award 2007 from here. To complete your application, please supply the following documents:

- Potential paper = applicant information + detailed description of the research results´ commercial potential
- Scientific paper or publication with 20 pages maximum and two years old at the most for more detailed description of the underlying invention, technology or research result

Prize money

Prize-winners chosen by our jurors will be awarded the following prize money:

- 1st place: EUR 3.000,--
- 2nd place: EUR 2.000,--
- 3rd place: EUR 1.000,--

Confidentiality

Any documents submitted will be treated confidentially. All persons involved in the CAST Awards, most notably CAST employees and jurors, must sign confidentiality agreements to protect the intellectual property of the participants. Disclosure of any relevant inventions for the purposes of an instruction to reproduce results is not a participation requirement.
