Are you a student at one of the universities in Innsbruck, and are you already thinking about the issue of self-employment as you follow your degree course? Would you like to receive further training for this?
If so, the optional "ABC of starting your own business" course will be of interest to you. This is a course aimed at all students, whatever subject they are majoring in, offered in collaboration with the Institute for General Management, Tourism and Service Economics of Leopold-Franzens-University, Innsbruck.
During the seminar, entrepreneurial thinking and action is stimulated and practised, and students also receive training in key qualifications. Those who complete the seminar will be in a position to draft business plans on their own; they will have acquired knowledge on funding start-ups; they will be informed about key institutions for starting their own business; they will have worked on case studies of successful start-ups; and they will have had discussions with new entrepreneurs with an academic background.
If you have any questions relating to the optional course, please contact Dr. Sandra Rothenberger from the Institute for General Management (office hours: Mon. 10am - midday, Sandra.Rothenberger@uibk.ac.at) or Dipl.-Vw. Bettina Specht at CAST specht@cast-tyrol.com)
