Brief description:
e-Sec is a firm of IT consultants that increases the IT security of businesses using its own internally developed software and providing professional consulting services. It conducts a risk analysis and draws up a security policy or security guidelines for the client, after which it concentrates on training the company’s staff. The training uses a multimedia, interactive security learning software that can be integrated into existing Intranet solutions.

Studies and the results achieved by e-Sec’s clients indicate that staff trained in IT security tends to adopt the correct behaviour when handling operations that are critical in security terms. The number of cost-intensive security events within businesses decreases, for example at one existing e-Sec client by an average of 42% within one year (status at 14 May 2005).
