Brief description:
GRID-IT works on the application of modern IT solutions for geosciences and geoinformatics. The focal point of their work lies in the tourism industry and in the field of natural hazards. In “Internet-based geoinformation systems” the team is developing a flexible information and management system to perfectly support and facilitate the workflow of decentralised administration systems. This will make it possible to link attributes to the relevant geographical and/or spatial data via the Internet. In particular, this data will be easy to track and, consequently, easy to keep up to date.

CAST’s tasks:

• Coaching in the development of the company
• Support in the generation of the business plan
• Funding for the start-up project
• Support in raising funding
• Assistance in the search for collaboration partners
