Brief description:
"Snowmeter" develops and markets a compact, robust and watertight distance measuring instrument that measures the depth of snow cover conveniently, easily and reliably on the basis of a patented technique. The nature of the signal and the echo analysis used enable real-time measurement (delay < 0.25 sec) in the difficult medium that is snow. Areas of application range from measuring the height of snow on ski slopes to searching for avalanche victims, and right through to assessing avalanche slopes.
